SATURDAY - AUGUST 18, 2018




Dear Artisan:


The Lovell Arts and Artisans Fair, benefiting the Charlotte Hobbs Memorial Library, is held each year on the third Saturday in August.  It is a fine arts/all juried Fair with approximately 60 artists taking part. 

Date:  Saturday, August 18 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, rain or shine at the New Suncook School, Rt. 5, Lovell, ME.  There is no admission charge for the public.

Jurying:  All craftsmen must submit physical work.  We ask to see a good sample of work, with a note about materials, process and technique. An idea of selling price is also helpful. Jurying date for 2018 TBD but will be in June. Please email if you would like to submit work.

Items to be juried may be left at or sent to: Charlotte Hobbs Memorial Library, PO Box 105, Lovell ME 04051 any time during the two weeks prior to the jurying date.  Please contact prior to sending your art.

The Library is open on Monday & Thursday, 9AM to 8PM.  Wednesday & Friday, 9AM to 4PM, and Saturday, 9AM to 1PM. The library is closed on Tuesday and Sunday. 

After Jurying:  It will be the artist’s responsibility to pick up the submitted items, or for any mailing costs if they are to be returned by mail.   Results of the judging are promptly given by mail and decisions are final.

Cost:  On acceptance, we request an 'accepted artist agreement' be returned to us as soon as possible with a non-refundable space reservation check of $30.00. Craftsmen donate 15% of their gross sales to the Charlotte Hobbs Library on the day of the Fair.
