This six week Tai chi class will started on July 5 and will run through August 9. Class will cost $8.00 an hour. After the first class, students may pay all classes ahead with 10% discount, equaling $36.00, or continue at $8.00 per class.
There are many styles of Tai chi but we will learn and practice sun style, which is recommended by the American Arthritis Association, and others, as the least stressful on the joints. It is definitely known to improve balance. Some other positive benefits may include muscle strength and coordination, concentration and improved memory. It also may reduce arthritic pain and improve cardiac function.
Pam Katz has been studying sun style tai chi for 20 years and has been teaching for twelve years. “Every time I practice, I still feel that I am improving and many times I am learning something new.” All ages welcome.
