Tai Chi with Pam Katz

There are many styles of Tai Chi, but Pam will focus on the sun style, which is recommended by the American Arthritis Foundation for being the least stressful on joints. It is also known to improve balance. Other benefits may include improved muscle strength and coordination, concentration and memory. Participants may also experience reduced arthritic pain and improved cardiac function.

Pam Katz has been studying sun-style tai chi for 20 years and has been teaching for 13 years. This class will begin on July 11 and continue through August. The fee is $8 per session, or participants may pay for the series in advance at a discount.
