Lovell LEGO Robotics Club

This exciting new club is now open to new members! Students between the ages of 9 and 14 will explore real-world engineering challenges by building Lego-based robots to complete tasks on a thematic playing surface. They will:

  • Design, build, test and program robots using LEGO MINDSTORMS technology

  • Apply real-world math and science concepts

  • Learn critical thinking and team-building skills

  • Participate in tournaments with other teams

The spring tournament theme is “Robot Track Meets.” Check out the website for more details: www.robottrackmeets.org. The program is limited to eight students. Beginners are welcome! Students in school may take the bus to the library after school with a note from parents. The program will meet on Thursday afternoons from 2:30-5:00 p.m January 10 - early April.

For more information, contact us at lovelllegorobotics@gmail.com or 207-925-1287.
