Library Roles
The Charlotte Hobbs Memorial Library has the responsibility to function in the following four simultaneous and equal roles within its community:
- Cultural Activity Center:
- Providing multi-generational and inter-generational programming.
- Emerging Reader Center:
- Welcoming and encouraging pre-schoolers and emerging readers.
- Independent Learning Center:
- Providing reference resources and materials, and supporting individuals of all ages pursuing learning.
- Popular Materials Library:
- Providing recreational and informational materials.
