Over the past five years, Paula and Tom Hughes have created, exhibited and sold over 400 of their floorcloths in more than 25 art fairs throughout New England.
They have been exhibitors in our Arts and Artisans Fair every year since 2012. Paula’s floorcloths are made of canvas and they are painted and finished with industrial marine grade acrylic. Her floorcloths are beautiful, easy to clean and very durable; they last for years. Sadly, the Hughes’ have decided to close their business and spend more of their time traveling, visiting family and taking a little “time off”. The good news is that they have decided to exhibit their remaining 18 floorcloths in a special “Closeout” sale where the balance of their floorcloths will be sold at a 25% discount.
Their “Closeout” sale will be November 26th in the King Community Room of the Library. We are very grateful the Hughes’ will donate 15% of their receipts to the Library. Several of their floorcloths will be on display in the Library prior to the sale.
The Hughes are very excited to be offering the balance of their beautiful floorcloths at a discount in Lovell, a community that has been very supportive of their business over the past five years.
The floorcloths “Closeout” sales will take place on Saturday, November 26th, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the lower level of the Charlotte Hobbs Memorial Library. We encourage you to stop buy and look over their floorcloths and to wish the Hughes well with their travel plans. These unique floorcloths make a great Christmas present!
