It’s almost Halloween. Makes sense that SCARY STORIES will be this month’s theme for the Charlotte Hobbs Story Swap, which will meet on Friday, October 27, from noon till 1:30. All are welcome, listeners as well as tellers!

So many things can be scary – not just ghosts. What haunts you? Have you had a close call with danger? A nightmare? The stories need not be personal – come with a folktale, a spooky story from a dark and stormy night, a “jump” tale to keep us all awake. Tell us a story from our world’s recent catastrophes, or from history. Or tease us with a mystery. It’s the season to look our fears in the face.
