The Chinese New Year is February 16th, so the theme for Story Swap this month is "Year of the Dog." All are welcome, listeners as well as tellers! As usual, we invite multiple approaches to our theme. You might think of stories about dogs, for instance. Or consider all the elements associated with the Chinese New Year celebration, including fireworks, the color red, spring cleaning, and family reunions. Think of the qualities said to be associated with people born in the Year of the Dog (2006, 1994, 1982, 1970, 1958, 1946, 1934,...): loyal and honest, amiable and kind, though sometimes stubborn.
