“My Special Place” Poetry Workshop
In this workshop, children’s author Mary Atkinson uses her award-winning poem “My Brother and I and the World”  to inspire children and others to write poetry about their own special places. She’ll guide participants to create (and maybe even illustrate) their own poems to later share over pizza.

For ages 7-12. Parents or grandparents are welcome to attend the workshop with their child/grandchild, or the child may attend solo.
