Hobbs Story Swap “Hope & Justice”

  • Charlotte Hobbs Memorial Library 227 Main Street Lovell, ME 04051 United States (map)

Times of hope. Matters of justice. Heartfelt hopes for justice. This massive story theme reaches out to us in the month of Thanksgiving. Our story swap will welcome (5-minute) tales of the fulfillment of hopes and success of justice – but also of disappointments and enduring challenges. Big, serious stories or small, funny tales. Triumphs and comeuppances. History, personal experience, folktale, myth, legend – we appreciate all kinds of stories. Let the theme build castles in your imagination!

Listeners and tellers are all welcome. We will certainly meet on Zoom, but if the pandemic situation makes it possible, the meeting will be hybrid, with some participants in the Community Room and some tuning in online. Please notify Jo Radner if you wish to attend in person, or if you would like to receive the Zoom link (jradner@american.edu).
