All patrons and friends of the Charlotte Hobbs Memorial Library are welcome to join the Page Turners, the Library’s book discussion group. We are currently meeting online.
Our book selection for December 13th is E. M. Forster’s classic novel Howard’s End (1910), often considered the author’s masterpiece, which is widely available on Minerva, in paper and electronic versions, and for free at Project Gutenberg.
Beginning in January, we will embark upon a special series focused on the French Revolution, for which our focal novel, to be accompanied by additional shorter readings, will be Hilary Mantel’s A Place of Greater Safety (1992). Watch the Hobbs Library website for further details!
Page Turners maintains a discussion list for our members, at which you can receive advance background information and questions in preparation for our discussions. If you would like further information about this group or wish to attend an upcoming meeting, please contact Sue Lanser at lanser@brandeis.edu or 925-6244.
