All patrons and friends of the Charlotte Hobbs Memorial Library are welcome to join Page Turners, the Library’s book discussion group. Our December 9 meeting will take us back to Mark Twain's classic novel The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn (1884). And on January 13, we will read James, Percival Everett's new retelling of Huck from the perspective of Jim, the enslaved runaway whom Huck befriends. James has won this year's National Book Award for fiction.
Page Turners maintains a discussion list through which members receive background information and preliminary discussion questions for each book selection. Please contact Sue Lanser (925-6244 or lanser@brandeis.edu) if you would like to learn more about the group or wish to join our mailing list.
