This month’s story swap will be a little different. As usual, participants are welcome to bring personal, historical, or traditional tales about one theme, GIFTS. Good season for that topic! But we will also welcome personal/family stories evoked by a range of prompts. Here are a few prompts in advance (we may offer other on the spur of the moment at the swap):

TELL ABOUT:

•  a relative with an unusual talent or habit

• a time when you saw, met, worked with, or lived near people very different from you

• how you got your first job (or tell about a memorable job you have held)

• something that happened in your family that you would like other members of your family always to remember

These prompts don’t have to be answered literally. Any story they bring to your mind is the right one!
