On Martin Luther King Day, Monday, January 17, 1:00-2:30 pm, the Hobbs Story Swap will share stories on the appropriate theme of “Justice.” We have explored this theme before, and found it inexhaustible. Let’s canvass our memories, think about historical moments, survey our folktale repertoires, and bring a range of stories that investigate this age-old topic. Moments of comeuppance, of retribution, of frustration, of well-deserved judgment – all stories are appreciated.
Listeners and tellers are all welcome. We will meet on Zoom this month. Please notify Jo Radner if you would like to receive the Zoom link (jradner@american.edu).
