In honor of National Poetry Month, the Hobbs Story Swap encourages you to bring a poem and/or a story – or perhaps a story with a poem or a poem with a story? -- that commemorates a person or an event. Lots of possibilities! Our general theme this month is commemoration – honoring the memory of people or events that are meaningful to us. These can be people or events we have known/experienced personally, historical people or events, or fictitious characters or happenings. We’ll have an afternoon of powerful language and memories.
