This month, the Hobbs Story Swap will be exchanging tales on the theme of “Lifesaving.” A wide set of opportunities, from the literal (a summer job at a pool or beach?) to the metaphorical! Think of those times when something happened – or when a friend, or even a stranger, stepped in – to save a desperate situation. What happened? What did that sudden moment of relief feel like? This theme can fit personal and family stories, historical events, folktales.
The swap will take place online on Wednesday, March 20, from 1:00-2:30 pm EDT. Come to share a story and/or to listen – all are welcome. FMI or for the zoom link, contact Jo Radner (jradner@american.edu).
