In February our theme at the Hobbs Story Swap will be FOOTLOOSE! Storytellers can take this wherever they like. Footloose and fancy free? Barefoot in the sand? Dog ate your slippers? Hero on a wild adventure? We will tell stories of all kinds of exploits, personal, family, historical, fairy tale, or epic!

The next Hobbs Story Swap will meet online on Wednesday, March 12, 1:00-2:30 pm EST.

Our theme will be double (though the two topics may well be combined in your tale!). Themes are AUTOMOBILES AND (in honor of the approach of St. Patrick’s Day) SHENANIGANS. Dig into your own history, your family history, any other history, of vehicles and/or mischief! Learning to drive? first car? drive-in theaters? speeding tickets received or escaped? and any range of memories or traditional tales of trickery, tomfoolery, or foolishness. What an unlimited well we have to draw on! Tellers and listeners are welcome.
