Carol Dana will draw on a collection of 189 traditional Penobscot stories about the culture hero Gluscabe. She will tell some stories and discuss their significance. Carol Dana currently works as language resource person for the Cultural and Historic Preservation Department for the Penobscot Nation. She teaches Penobscot children, and works with the elders in the community. In 2010 Carol was presented with a Lifetime Achievement Award for her dedication to the Penobscot Language.
