This presentation will include the history of ASL, as well as some basic sign language. We will also briefly review communication preferences and tips with information about the deaf community and culture.
BIO: Ruth Moore, a part-time resident of Lovell, has taught American Sign Language at the University of Massachusetts, Smith College, and Hampshire College in Massachusetts.
