GLLT Presents: Batty About Bats

  • Charlotte Hobbs Memorial Library 227 Main Street Lovell, ME 04051 United States (map)

For this evening program, Naturalist Sarah Blodgett will help us explore the lives of these small, furry, flying mammals as we watch a nursery colony of mother bats emerge to feed at twilight.

We’ll begin with an indoor program and then venture to a local barn to watch and listen as the bats emerge.

Limited to 30 participants. Masks required for the indoor program.

Registration: leigh.hayes@gllt.org

Insect repellant and flashlights or headlamps with a red filter suggested;  binoculars may be useful before full dark.
