Thinking about pathogens as evolving organisms and about the factors that affect their evolution can help us to understand COVID-19 and to think about the future of human epidemiology.

BIO: Dr. Peter Ellison, a resident of Lovell, is the John Cowles Research Professor of Human Evolutionary Biology at Harvard University and a member of the National Academy of Sciences. His research lies at the intersection of evolution and human health.
