Maine State Museum Listening Tour

  • Charlotte Hobbs Memorial Library 227 Main Street Lovell, ME 04051 United States (map)

***THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED***
The Maine State Museum seeks community input to find the stories and broader themes that resonate with and reflect the many voices, interests, and identities of the  people of Maine.
There will be a series of discussions in different communities across the state. Participants’  responses will inform the museum’s ongoing work. There is a particular focus on the  development of the new exhibit that will welcome all visitors as they step inside the museum.

How will my answers to the questions be used?

Meetings are recorded so museum staff members can capture the information you share with  us. Your responses could be used to inspire exhibits, student activities, public programs, and  what kinds of things the museum collects to share with future generations.

What if I don’t know much about museums or Maine history?

We still can learn from you! We want to know what people living in  Maine today think is important.
After all, what has happened in your life  is part of Maine history.
