Michael Chaney’s talk looks set to be a fascinating glimpse into an important period in the history of our region, when logging was still king, and moving those big logs was done by water rather than by truck. Chaney was born in Alna, Maine, and he has spent a career in public history. From 2010 until 2014, Chaney was the Executive Director of the Yarmouth Historical Society. The Speaker Series is supported in part by a generous contribution from the Norway Savings Bank
