The Charlotte Hobbs Library Speaker Series welcomes Adam White, the author of the national bestseller, The Midcoast.

Selected as an Editors’ Choice, Lee Cole of The New York Times described The Midcoast as “propulsive . . . an absorbing look at small-town Maine and the thwarted dreams of a family trying to transcend it.” Adam White grew up in Damariscotta, Maine, and now lives with his wife and son in Boston, where he teaches writing and coaches lacrosse. He holds an MFA from Columbia University. The Midcoast is his first novel.
