The House at Schumannstrasse 7 is a story about Alice and Heinrch, Jewish-Germans, who were caught between two countries, two world wars and the politics of identity. In 1915, the British imprisoned Heinrich because he was German. In 1938, Nazis sent him to Dachau, where he was tortured and released. He sought sanctuary in England. The British imprisoned him.
