All patrons and friends of the Charlotte Hobbs Memorial Library are welcome to join Page Turners, the Library’s book discussion group. In January and February we are diving into Stendhal’s brilliant classic The Charterhouse of Parma (1839), a novel of the Italy in the aftermath of the Napoleonic Wars that brings together the young and sensitive Fabrice, his magnetic aunt Gina, the Duchess Sanseverina, and the powerful Count Mosca, in a plot of romantic and political intrigue. Page Turners maintains a discussion list through which members receive background information and discussion questions for each book selection.
