"UNEXPECTED GIFTS" AT THE STORY SWAP

On Wednesday, December 3, the Hobbs Story Swap will exchange stories online about UNEXPECTED GIFTS. Given the season, maybe you are thinking of a strange present for Christmas or Hanukkah? -- but there are also many other ways to be "gifted," and all of them are eligible for our little stories. Let your mind roam! Special talents? Setbacks that turn out to deliver unanticipated rewards? A win when we expected a loss? An astonishing present from a small (or older) child? A sudden flash of understanding?
