“HELPING” Stories at the Hobbs Story Swap 

On Wednesday, October 28, from 1:00-2:30 EDT, the Hobbs storytellers will gather online to share stories about HELPING. So many ways we have tried to help, successfully or (sometimes hilariously) not. Think of those moments of good will in your life or in your family history. Think of all the magical helpers in folktales! – the old woman at the well who gives the hero the necessary secret, the fairy godmother who steps in at the crucial moment, or in Native story, the brave muskrat who dives down through the water to bring up the vital mud that grows into the world on the turtle’s back. Helping is vital!
