All of life involves both the energies of yin & yang - dark & light, passive & active, reflective & outward moving, cool & warm. This class will aim to create a balance between the two. The yang aspect will include standing poses that increase strength, stamina & flexibility, while the yin practice expands that flexibility by addressing connective tissue, ligaments & joints in the pelvis, hips & lower spine, loosening energetic blocks & aiding in healing.
Pranayama (breath work) and brief meditation will also be a part of every class, as will brief writing exercises to remind our everyday selves of our "AHA!" moments from class! Bring an open mind and compassionate heart. Surprises are in store!
Class fee: $85 - 6 weeks or $16 drop-in, Minimum of three students.
