After we light the tree we will sing carols, helped by the Fryeburg Academy Choir. If we sing loud enough Santa and Mrs. Claus might stop by. They usually travel through Lovell on a big red fire truck. All children present will have a chance to visit with Santa and receive a small literary gift.
This year we hope to help Santa buy these presents with monies raised from the Stephen King Book Raffle. Instead of gift baskets we will be raffling off five signed Stephen King books this year. You can help support this wonderful community event by buying a raffle ticket. Each ticket will give you five chances to win a book. Hot chocolate, coffee and desert items will be served. Another way to help out is by baking Holiday bars or cookies. You can sign up at the library.
